Flora Springs Winery Halo Cabernets Wine Packaging Design

The wines needed to honor the heritage of the brand and celebrate its matriarch, Flora, and her boundless love for the land.

The label was printed on a silk paper substrate that provides a slight iridescence to the labels giving them the feel of a modern take on a tapestry. Each of the SKUs have slightly different colored clouds in the sky. The final touch was a gold foil vine pattern that was strategically placed throughout the vineyard and Flora’s billowing scarf as if everything she touches turns to gold.
CF Napa drew inspiration for the design from a vintage painting called, “Flora dispensing Her Favours on the Earth” which depicts the winery matriarch as a goddess, flying through the air and sprinkling flowers over the land below. Flora is a steward of the land, always keeping watch, and the flowers represent Flora’s appreciation and connection to the land that produces her beautiful wines. CF Napa adapted this illustration to show Flora flying over Napa Valley vineyards.
