Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars came to CF Napa to create an unboxing experience for their wine club shipments that aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning.
As the groundbreaking winery whose Cabernet Sauvignon grabbed the highest score in the legendary Judgment of Paris in 1976, the communications for their exclusive wine club needed to reflect the brand’s iconic status. Additionally, the winery needed a system that would allow them to add a personalized touch to their shipments by curating them for each member.
CF Napa created an elegant folio system crafted in a rich, toothy paper and embellished with embossed details for the branding, and a gold foil signature of the winemaker. The folder was designed with a die cut slot to display a customized letter from the Director of Membership with each allocation. A pocket allows for a flexible system of interchangeable cards including a list of the wines in each shipment, a recommended recipe and wine pairing, and information about upcoming events. Each of the cards features the iconic Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars logo in gold foil.
To complete the unboxing experience, CF Napa designed branded tissue and embossed metallic seals to wrap the bottles.
Following our refresh of their tasting room materials, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, sought to elevate their customers’ experience with new gift boxes, bags, and wine carriers while creating a unified system that was cohesive with the new tasting room materials.
The single bottle and 3-bottle gift boxes open to reveal a picturesque view of the Palisades and their estate vineyards. Removable inserts allow the boxes to accommodate any of the brand’s bottles. The bottom of the bags reveal the foil-stamped tagline, “Rooted in Legend. Cultivating Perfection.”
The system leverages their new gray hue utilized for the tasting folio and includes touches of gold foil for a luxurious touch.
