The main objectives were to promote wine sales by creating a streamlined path to the wines section, to establish a more mobile-friendly version of the site, and to immerse the consumer in the Lail family’s 140-year Napa Valley winemaking history.
CF Napa created an editorial-inspired design for the site with stunning photography and easy access to the various subpages of the site. The simplified structure made every section just one click away whether viewed from a traditional desktop computer or smartphone. The organized wines section allowed the customer to navigate to the various wines based on varietal and brand. Tasting profiles accompanied each listing, providing a more detailed view of the wine. The new story section provided insight into the multi-generational history of the Lail family’s presence in Napa Valley and introductions to the winery team. A revamped trade section organized marketing collateral by wine and varietal for easy access by sales staff, journalists, or the curious wine drinker.
