The goal was to enhance the unboxing experience for their wine club members, welcoming them to the DAOU family and creating a better connection to the estate. The design solution needed to establish a system for the winery’s 12-month wine club shipment program that CF Napa could easily update and customize to the season and future releases.
For the Harvest Allocation, CF Napa designed a box topper sized to stretch across the full top of the shipping box, ensuring that the DAOU messaging was instantly communicated upon opening. The front of the topper displayed a picturesque view of the mountaintop winery and vineyards, bringing a little piece of the mountain to all wine club members. The back of the topper featured the selection of wines included in the allocation along with corresponding short descriptions of each wine. A QR code directed viewers to a webpage with the full tasting notes.
To accompany the winery’s fall allocation, CF Napa created a membership brochure. The slim, trifold club brochure featured photography of the stunning vineyard and an unmatched view of the iconic DAOU mountain at sunset. Woven in between photos were reminders of the many benefits and opportunities available to wine club members to fully experience the world of DAOU.
