Chehalem's winery is nestled in a vineyard atop a hill surrounded by very unique wavy rows of vines. This vineyard and aerial photos of the winery provided inspiration for the sketches that ultimately became the graphic anchor to the design solution for the brand.
An abstract representation of the estate was reinterpreted to create a special motif of the vineyard per tier. The rich range of colors and overlapping gold foil stamp lend additional credibility to the wines. The flower seal was inspired by the brand name, Chehalem, which means, “Valley of Flowers” in the local Native American language, Calpooia.
