The logo design needed to reflect this high-end attention to detail and hold its own next to competitors in the designer perfume space.
The brand owner found parallels between the exclusivity of perfume and its ingredients and the pineapple – a fruit so rare in the days of the British Empire that it became a symbol of luxury. The bee was a symbol of the French Empire, an era of opulence, and reflects the usage of beeswax absolute in high-end perfumes. Using all this as inspiration, we created a monogram held inside a stylized pineapple, ensconced by honeybees. The final logomark married with the Frater wordmark to create a unique logo that fits perfectly in the world of high-end fashion and haute couture.
